South Carolina Lawyers Weekly Names Wallace Lightsey a 2015 Leadership in Law Honoree
January 21, 2015GREENVILLE, SC – Wyche attorney Wallace Lightsey has been named a 2015 Leadership in Law Honoree by South Carolina Lawyers Weekly. The award recognizes legal professionals from across South Carolina who have achieved success in their law practice, made contributions to society, and had an impact on the legal profession. Lightsey is one of just 31 attorneys in the state selected for this recognition.
Lightsey focuses his litigation practice at Wyche on complex securities, corporate, and intellectual property cases, as well as news media and First Amendment disputes. For over a decade, he has been a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an organization composed of a small percentage of the best trial attorneys in the U.S. and Canada. He is also Past President of the South Carolina Bar Foundation and past Chair of the South Carolina Commission on Lawyer Conduct. Lightsey serves as a Director of The Warehouse Theatre Board and recently served as Chair and Director of The Family Effect Board. He is a cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School and a summa cum laude graduate of Duke University.
