Southeastern Freight Lines appoints Michelle Tate to Director of Human Resources

Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, today announced Michelle Tate has been appointed as director of human resources.

Tate previously worked as a director of human resources within Duke Energy’s Nuclear Division. She holds an MBA from Texas A&M University and has more than 20 years of human resources experience.

“Michelle’s keen business acumen, gained through both her extensive business experience as well as her education, is just one reason she’s a valued addition to our team,” said Richard Slater, vice president of human resources for Southeastern Freight Lines. “Michelle also demonstrated a clear understanding of our servant leadership model and we believe she will lead with our associate’s best interests at heart, and that is key within our organization.
