Southern Paint and Powder Coating Inc. locates in Chesterfield County

Investment expected to create new jobs

COLUMBIA,SC – February 21,2012 – Southern Paint and Powder Coating Inc. (SPPC) today announced plans tolocate its new facility in Chesterfield County. The $845,000 investment isexpected to generate 13 new jobs.

We appreciate the support we’ve receivedfrom both state and local officials as we’ve moved forward on this project,”said Ernest Jordan, president of Southern Paint and Powder CoatingInc.

SouthernPaint and Powder Coating Inc. will establish a new coatings facility inPageland. The company specializes in the application of liquid paint and powdercoatings for OEM manufacturers in the truck, construction and school busmarkets.

SouthernPaint and Powder Coating Inc. will setup its operation in the former EagleSprings Water Company facility at 608 Usher Street. The company expects to beginoperations in the new facility in the fall.
