Spartanburg Water Cashiering Coordinator awarded with inaugural State Award for outstanding service

The South Carolina American Water Works Association (SCAWWA) awards Roberta Porter

The South Carolina American Water Works Association (SCAWWA) recently awarded longtime Spartanburg Water Cashiering Coordinator, Roberta Porter, with the SCAWWA’s inaugural Heart of Service Award at the annual SCEC conference held in Myrtle Beach.

The Heart of Service Award recognizes an employee in a customer-facing role who demonstrates a commitment to customers through their exceptional and valuable contributions. The purpose of this award is to celebrate and acknowledge an individual who demonstrates a consistent practice of exemplary “soft skills,” reflective of a heart for customer service, contributes to fostering a positive working environment for co-workers and customers, and creates innovative ideas that enhance the overall customer experience.
