“Spartanburg Water has developed its pretreatment program based on the federal, state and local requirements that uniquely protect our customers, our sewer system, and our receiving streams,” said Ken Tuck, Water Treatment Director at Spartanburg Water. “We understand how important it is to have 100 percent compliance in our regulatory requirements. It takes tremendous effort by these partners to meet those standards.”

The recognized industries drive economic development and bring jobs to Spartanburg County, Tuck said. Together, Spartanburg Water and its partners are working toward excellence in the quality of our water and our quality of life.

“Once again, we are proud to recognize these companies’ achievement and efforts in being responsible partners in the protection of our environment,” Tuck said.
