Squealing on the Square Takes on a New Flair

A weekend that everyone looks forward to is coming up soon. On Friday and Saturday, October 1 and 2^nd the Square in Laurens is the place to be.

Squealing on the Square draws big crowds to downtown Laurens for food, vendors, music and much more each year.  Each year dozens of barbeque teams show up to smoke up the town with the smell of great barbeque but this year there’s something new.

Squealing’s newest event will showcase another favorite food – STEAK! Another type of cookoff to find Laurens’ top grill master!
