Housing is the only solution to homelessness. One80 Place works quickly to re-house people and only then does it begin to try to address the issue of what caused the homelessness. They don’t try to fix people, they coach them. They connect with the individual, discover what is important them, and facilitate a new path forward. Their approach is working. 94% of the individuals that are put into housing, remain there.
Given the importance of housing, in the fall of 2019 One80 Place hopes to break ground on a new 7 story, 76 unit affordable housing project.
