January 31, 2022

Interim HealthCare, a leading area provider of home health, hospice, and personal care services in South Carolina, recently welcomed healthcare industry veteran Stacey Griffith as Vice President of Strategic and Business Development. In this role, Griffith will be responsible for developing patient-focused initiatives that align with the mission of the company and increase community reach and company growth.

“Not only does Stacey have over thirty years of experience in healthcare sales, marketing, and consulting but she has a real passion for both team development and home healthcare,” said Charles McDonough, CEO of Interim HealthCare. “Her particular expertise with market expansion will be instrumental as we continue to grow and bring our high level of care to patients across South Carolina.”

Griffith has an extensive career in the healthcare industry. Previously, she served as Human Resources Business Partner and Consultant at Benefitfocus, where she provided strategic support for company executives. She also served as the Area Vice President of Sales at Gentiva Home Health and Hospice, where she was responsible for creating and implementing strategies for increased growth and launched the company’s services in Charleston. Most recently she has been an independent consultant specializing in business performance management, leadership training, and growth. Griffith’s role at Interim HealthCare will be to identify expansion opportunities, evaluate new markets, and advance operations to meet the growing need for home healthcare.

“Interim HealthCare has an exceptional reputation and I have followed the organization’s progress for many years. It’s clear their success is due to the unique company culture, and I am excited to have the opportunity to join the Interim family,” said Griffith. “Like so many others at Interim HealthCare, I find home healthcare rewarding because of the direct, positive impact we have on the lives of our patients and their families. I look forward to applying my expertise to the success of Interim HealthCare and supporting their dedication to the communities and patients they serve.”

Interim HealthCare expanded to the Midlands in 2021 after serving the Upstate for more than 40 years. In addition to 10 counties in the Upstate region, the company now also serves Richland, Lexington, Newberry, Orangeburg, and Calhoun counties. Interim HealthCare offers the full continuum of care – home health, hospice, and personal care services. While locally owned and operated, the organization is part of the national Interim HealthCare network of more than 400 locations.
