State Farm welcomes new agent Nick Shelly

WEST COLUMBIA, SC – State Farm is pleased to welcome new agent Nick Shelly to its family of Good Neighbor Agents in West Columbia, SC. The Nick Shelly Agency is located at 2277 Sunset Blvd, West Columbia, SC 29169. The Nick Shelly Agency officially opened its doors on August 1st 2015.
Prior to becoming a State Farm Agent Nick Shelly was the office manager of a tenured State Farm Agency. After 12 years of service he wanted to realize his dream of being self-employed and to continue helping people in the insurance and financial arena.
“I have always wanted to own my own business and State Farm offered a way for me to really enjoy what I do,” said Nick. “This career allows me to work directly with people to prepare for the future and provide financial security for their families.”
Nick is married to Kristie Shelly an 8th grade math teacher at Lexington Middle School. They have 3 ½ year old twins named Reed and Grace.
Nick Shelly has been a resident of Lexington since 1990 and graduated from Lexington High school in 1998. While attending Lexington he played soccer and ran cross-country. Nick Shelly attended Lander University in Greenwood, SC where he studied business and graduated in 2002 with a degree in Marketing Management.
