February 17, 2025

In an age where digital threats are on the rise, knowing how to protect your personal information is more important than ever. The Laurens Library invites the community to a special program, Stay Safe Online!, featuring library tech expert Robert Peake.

Peake will share essential tips on safeguarding personal data and practicing online security. This informative session will take place on Thursday, February 20, with two opportunities to attend—11:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.—to accommodate different schedules.

The program is designed for all ages because if you log on, you need to be on guard. Attendees will learn practical steps to enhance their digital safety, whether browsing the web, using social media, or handling sensitive information online.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Laurens Library at 864-681-7323.
