Steel Hands Vista Distilling and Brewing opening soon!

Steel Hands Brewing announced a new concept opening very soon in the heart of the Vista Entertainment District. Steel Hands Vista Distilling and Brewing will be located at 705 Gervais Street, Columbia, South Carolina 29201. The new location will handcraft small batch spirits and experimental craft beers with exquisite ingredients distilled and brewed on-site, one of the first in the state of South Carolina.

Through passionate artists, Steel Hands Distilling handcrafted spirits were born. The artistry of local songwriters and recording artists who have performed at Steel Hands Brewing inspired the team to create a line of original spirits around the brand’s love for supporting live music and aspiring artists. Steel Hands Distilling plans to distill, blend and hand bottle a variety of spirit styles including Vodkas, Gins and more. The new Vista location features a 200-liter, authentic Müller pot still hand-built with German craftsmanship, a 7-barrel brewhouse with 28 barrels of fermentation capacity along with kegging and liquor bottling equipment.

Spanning nearly 5,000 square feet, the facility is nestled within a stunning historic brick building. It will feature a custom designed space, including a full-service restaurant and bar, offering seating for approximately 160 guests. Steel Hands distilled spirits will be available on premise to savor in carefully curated cocktails, or in bottles to go home. Steel Hands craft beers will also be available for enjoyment. Guests will be able to pair cocktails and craft beers with a full menu featuring appetizers, tapas-style offerings and select featured entrées.
