Strategic Outsourcing Inc. Announces New Headquarters in Lancaster County

LANCASTER COUNTY, SC – May 13, 2010 – The South Carolina Department of Commerce and the Lancaster County Economic Development Corporation today announced that Strategic Outsourcing Inc. (SOI) will locate its new corporate and administrative headquarters in Lancaster County. The company expects to invest $1 million as it establishes the new facility.
“We are pleased to be locating our headquarters and administrative offices in South Carolina. Lancaster County has an excellent business environment and an available, pre-existing building. The new facility will position us for future growth as our customer base continues to expand. We appreciate all the support from state and local officials as we make our plans a reality,” said Mike Wilson, chief financial officer for SOI.
SOI expects to move into the URS building in Indian Land in October. The company offers human resources, risk management, benefits and payroll services to medium- and small-sized businesses across the country.

Earlier this week, Nutramax Laboratories Inc. and Nutramax Manufacturing Inc. announced new operations in Lancaster County with over 200 new jobs. Also this year, Greyne Custom Wood Co. and Defense Venture Group announced new operations in Lancaster County. Last fall, Red Ventures announced and opened its new headquarters in Indian Land.
