Studio Pilates International grand opening

What: The City of Columbia announced the grand opening of Studio Pilates International. Founded in 2002 by former Olympic swimmer Jade Winter and Physical Therapist Tanya Winter, it now has 125+ locations worldwide, with more than 70 in development. The new location at the Market at Spears Creek will be the first international franchise in the state of South Carolina and will be run by Ms. Chantel Graham.
Ms. Graham is a resident of northeast Columbia and a graduate of Voorhees University. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Her professional background stems from designing digital products for major companies like Zillow and Home Depot. Ms. Graham’s goal is to use Studio Pilates International to serve and give back to the community that has helped shape her professional and personal life. She chose the northeast Columbia location because it is one of the city’s most dynamic and rapidly growing corridors, with an increasing number of families and professionals who deserve access to high quality fitness and wellness options.
Studio Pilates International will have 40 minute, full body reformer Pilates classes that are designed by physical therapists with scientifically-sequenced exercises to increase strength, muscle tone, posture, and overall fitness from head-to-toe.
The studio is located at 185 Earth Road, Unit C, Elgin, SC 29045 and its hours of operation are Monday – Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
