Sumner & Todd named to “Best Law Firms in America”

Greenville law firm Sumner & Todd, Attorneys at Law has been named a “Best Law Firm 2022, Tier 1” for DUI Defense by U.S. News & World Report. Only six law firms in South Carolina received this recognition.
Tier 1 status is reserved for the highest scoring firms during the annual review process. Best Lawyers also named the firm’s namesake partner Steve Sumner “2022
Attorney Scott Todd
Lawyer of the Year” for DUI Defense in the Upstate. Likewise, the firm’s other partner, Scott Todd, a native of Laurens, was recently honored as “Best & Brightest Under 35” by Greenville Business Magazine.
Sumner opened his practice as a criminal defense attorney in 1997 with a special focus on defending clients accused of DUI, Felony DUI, all driving offenses and drug cases. Todd joined the firm in 2021 and was named partner in 2022.
