February 5, 2026

Kossick will serve as Sustain SC’s Director of Partnerships, and Dix will serve as the Marketing and Events Coordinator.

Sustain SC announced the addition of two new team members, Brent Kossick as the Director of Partnerships, and Megan Dix as the Marketing and Events Coordinator. Brent and Megan’s leadership and expertise will be instrumental in advancing Sustain SC’s purpose to build and grow a more sustainable future for South Carolina.

Brent brings nearly two decades of experience in environmental conservation, disaster resiliency, sustainability and workforce development. Prior to joining Sustain SC, Brent served in leadership roles with Service Year Alliance, the South Carolina Service Commission, SBP Inc. and Texas Conservation Corps, where he worked closely with partners to build capacity, strengthen cross-sector collaboration and drive mission aligned outcomes.

“I’m extremely excited to join the Sustain SC team,” said Brent Kossick, Director of Partnerships. “Sustain SC’s innovative approach to uniting a diverse range of stakeholders in support of South Carolina’s economic growth and environmental stewardship is a powerful model, and I look forward to contributing to the collective impact that is being advanced.”

Megan comes to Sustain SC with a passion and dedication for sustainability and conservation. Prior to joining, Megan worked as the event coordinator for the Environmental Law Institute (ELI) and held multiple roles with Education Week in Bethesda, Maryland. In her years with ELI, she worked to bring together the organization’s most dedicated supporters through multiple events, creating a convening space for thought leaders from across the environmental profession.

“I am excited to be a part of the team,” said Megan Dix, Marketing and Events Coordinator at Sustain SC. “I have always had a passion for supporting important, mission driven work and I couldn’t ask for a better fit for the next step of my career. I am truly looking forward to expanding Sustain SC’s reach through events and communications, drawing on the important work they do every day.”

Brent and Megan join Sustain SC at a pivotal time for the organization’s growth, as Sustain SC is approaching its five-year anniversary this March. They are positioned to support the organization’s strategy and mission and will advance important work in energy, circularity, conservation and supply chain resilience. In their new roles, Brent and Megan will create connections and strengthen relationships while producing events and fostering partnerships at the intersection of commerce and conservation.

“We are excited to welcome Brent and Megan to the Sustain SC team,” said CEO Leslie Skardon. “As our organization continues to grow, their work will be vital to expanding our relationships and impacts statewide.”
