Sweep in Rock Hill Makes PC Women Upwardly Mobile

Presbyterian College’s women’s basketball team took full advantage of the regular season’s end, and back-to-back road victories over Winthrop enabled the Blue Hose to secure the fifth seed for the Big South tournament.

It also earned PC a first-round bye in the tournament, which begins on Saturday. The Blue Hose will travel to Boiling Springs, N.C., on Monday evening to play Gardner-Webb.
