Sydney Tindall named to Clemson Alumni Association Board of Directors
September 24, 2025The Clemson Alumni Association has named Sydney Tindall of Charleston, South Carolina, to its Board of Directors.
Tindall graduated summa cum laude from Clemson University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese and International
Business and a minor in Nonprofit Leadership. During her time at Clemson, she was deeply involved in student leadership and service, serving as Chapter President of Kappa Delta Sorority, Director of Tigerama through Blue Key Honor Society, Co-Chair of the Welcome Back Festival with the Student Alumni Council, and a campus tour guide with the Clemson University Guide Association.
Professionally, Tindall is a Senior Account Executive at Blackbaud, a leading software company powering social good across the for-profit and non-profit sectors. Her experience with employee engagement, corporate social responsibility, corporate partnerships, and social impact brings a valuable perspective to the board.
Tindall has remained actively engaged with Clemson since graduation, serving as Vice President of the Dallas-Fort Worth Clemson Club, Area Representative for the Clemson Young Alumni Council in both Dallas and Charleston, and volunteering with First Tee of Greater Charleston. Her dedication to service and leadership has earned her numerous accolades, including the Corre Anding Stegall Collegiate Leadership Award and the Clemson Chinese Best Achievement Award.
With a strong belief in lifelong connection to Clemson, Tindall is committed to fostering alumni engagement and ensuring that the Clemson spirit continues to thrive across generations – just as she’s benefited from throughout her life.

The alumni board has 22 members and is the governing body for the Clemson Alumni Association. Primary responsibilities of the board include general oversight of the programs and initiatives of the association, financial audit and review, the establishment of governing policies and strategic planning.
The Clemson Alumni Association is an open-membership, nonprofit organization.
