Sylvan Learning Centers offering school support program for e-learning

In response to the continuation of virtual schooling, the Sylvan Learning Centers in Midlands will be offering online school support for students wanting to get the most out of virtual school or e-learning.
Sylvan’s new School Support program provides the structure, motivation and focus that you and your child need to manage this year’s unusual school experiences. The School Support program allows your child to work on their schoolwork within a learning conducive environment and with the supervision and support of certified teachers.
“Think of this as an enhanced study hall for virtual school,” said Amy Gardner, the franchise owner for Sylvan Learning in the Upstate. “It’s the solution to ensure your child is getting their e-learning or virtual school work completed in a timely manner and to the best of their ability.”
The School Support Program will be offered Monday-Friday, from 9 A.M to noon. With a minimum enrollment requirement of two days per week but up to five days per week, each child will be in a safe environment setup for learning. The program also offers a free academic check-up upon enrollment to determine if your child is ready for their new grade level.
To safeguard the health of both the teachers and students, the program will have limited space available for enrollment. For more info, click the links provided for Columbia and Columbia-Irmo. Both locations are all socially distanced and sanitized in accordance with the guidelines provided by the CDC.
“We know parents are concerned and worried for their kids to go back in the fall,” said Gardner. “We want parents and children to feel safe when coming back to in-center learning environments.”
