Synalloy investing over $9 million in Fountain Inn facility

“The recently completed $5 million expansion to increase our manufacturing process will continue to add value to the community for many years to come,” said Greg Gibson, President of Synalloy Chemicals.
Synalloy purchased CRI Tolling in August 2013 to fulfill a key strategic initiative of its Specialty Chemicals Segment, which was to acquire or build a second production facility.
“CRI Tolling began in Laurens County 23 years ago, and we’re proud to reaffirm our commitment to this community by expanding our production facility that will allow us to duplicate critical production capabilities and strategically place large-volume business near our customer base. Our continuing investment speaks to Laurens County’s strengths in providing an outstanding workforce as well as a superior business infrastructure,” added Gibson.
