Limited-edition “O Capsule Collection for Talbots” to raise money for Dress for Success

Talbots and O, The Oprah Magazine have joined forces to launch Give Confidence, Hope and Style, an unprecedented spring retail collaboration and national marketing campaign that is for women, about women, supporting women and dressing women. Give Confidence, Hope and Style is the culmination of two like-minded organizations with like-minded philanthropic visions coming together to support Dress for Success, an international charity that promotes economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire and career development.

The O Capsule Collection will be featured in an editorial fashion spread in the March issue of O Magazine, and will be promoted through digital social content and national store events.

Last year, through customer donations and a percentage of proceeds from store events, Talbots collected over 4,000 boxes of clothing and was able to donate $500,000 to Dress for Success. This year, through the partnership with O Magazine, the goal is to double the monetary and clothing donations.

On Saturday, March 5, all Talbots stores across the country will hold “Style Events,” where women nationwide can shop the collection, enjoy refreshments, and make donations to Dress for Success. Both monetary donations and gently worn clothing will be accepted at any Talbots locations from March 3 to March 6. The local store locations are at 261 King Street in downtown Charleston, 1125 Market Center Drive, Mt. Pleasant (at Towne Centre) and at Tanger Outlet in North Charleston.
