Tapestry Turns 35!

The economic toll from the COVID-19 pandemic has been particularly hard on small businesses but despite the most challenging of times, Tapestry boutique clothing store in Clinton is not just surviving they are thriving as they celebrate 35 years in business.
Imagine having the idea to open a fine-clothing store in a small town and then following that dream for decades. That’s just what Tapestry owner Leslie Anne Cooper Jackson did.
“It’s been an incredible journey filled with some challenges but much joy,” said Jackson. “Laurens County residents have been so supportive, and we are so appreciative of our loyal customers who are like family to us.”

Jackson and her staff have worked hard over the years to maintain the uniqueness of the lines they sell and the service they provide. Store manager, Megan Cauble Knight, who has been working at the store since 2010 says the increased use of social media has helped to connect with customers and promote events. During the pandemic Knight created Facebook Live events to showcase feature items in the store.
Tapestry is known by customers for great clothing lines, super sales and really fun special events including the annual 12 Days of Christmas Sale with promotions and fun events during the holiday shopping season, trunk shows, seasonal sales and the very popular $19 room filled with great buys.
To celebrate 35 years in business Tapestry will hold one of their fun events this Saturday, August 7th from 10-6. Come by for mimosas in the morning (10-12), refreshments and snacks from (4-6) and the Front Porch Ice Cream truck will be onsite from 2-6 pm (free ice cream with purchases of $30 or more in the store). The store will be having a tent sale with a large inventory of $19 items and Spring/Summer items markdowns from 25-75% off. There will also be drawings throughout the day for giveaways and prizes.
