Taste of the Vine returns to Central Energy on March 19, 2026

March 4, 2026

Columbia’s premier wine event, Taste of the Vine, returns on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Central Energy, benefiting Transitions Homeless Center, the Midlands’ largest provider of services for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Taste of the Vine is a curated wine experience designed for both novice and seasoned wine enthusiasts. Guests will enjoy 18 wine tables featuring nearly 100 different wines, food from Loosh Culinaire, and a silent auction showcasing exclusive, hard-to-find wines and spirits.

New this year, the event will also offer a private tasting experience limited to 30 guests, prior to the main event. Private tasting attendees will enjoy exclusive wines and curated pairings, along with early access to the wine gallery before doors open at 6:00 p.m.

Taste of the Vine is made possible through a partnership with Green’s Beverages, a family-owned business known for its exceptional selection of wine, beer, and spirits. Green’s Beverages was recently recognized with a 2025 Market Watch Leaders Community Service Award, highlighting its ongoing commitment to community partnership and service. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase featured wines, with proceeds benefiting Transitions Homeless Center.

“Taste of the Vine brings people together around a high-quality experience that also makes a real impact,” said Gavin Brown, Vice President of Advancement for Transitions Homeless Center. “It’s a unique opportunity to enjoy exceptional wine while directly supporting meals, services, and pathways to permanent housing for individuals experiencing homelessness across the Midlands.”

Proceeds from Taste of the Vine directly benefit Transitions Homeless Center. Since opening in 2011, Transitions has served more than 33,000 individuals, provided over 2.6 million meals, and helped more than 4,200 people transition to permanent housing.
