TD SYNNEX announces date, theme and location for 2022 Share the Magic Greenville annual celebration

Share the Magic to expand in 12th year from five TD SYNNEX markets to seven across North America
TD SYNNEX announced today its Share the Magic annual fundraising celebration in Greenville will take place Oct. 8 at Hartness with a goal to raise more than $2 million to benefit four local charities helping children and families.
The theme for the company’s flagship Greenville event will be “Around the World,” embracing the global reach of the company formed in September 2021 by the merger of SYNNEX and Tech Data corporations. With the merger creating the world’s largest IT distributor, Share the Magic is expanding to Texas and Arizona, bringing to seven the number of communities it touches and dramatically growing its reach to serve more children and families.

This year, Greenville’s TD SYNNEX Share the Magic gala will take place at Hartness, the award-winning 449-acre urban village founded by the Hartness family and located on Greenville’s Eastside on the family’s estate. Hartness hosted the 2021 gala that raised a record $2.17 million.
Since its founding in Greenville in 2011, Share the Magic chapters have been established in Canada, California, Colorado, and Illinois and soon will be expanded to Texas and Arizona. TD SYNNEX Share the Magic has raised more than $17 million across all markets with each hosting its own series of events ranging from galas, celebrations and golf tournaments to silent auctions and fun walks.
Greenville’s chapter supports A Child’s Haven, Clement’s Kindness, Make-A-Wish® South Carolina, and Pendleton Place. Across the network, charities benefited by TD SYNNEX Share the Magic are focused on children, wellness and the digital divide.
