Ten at the Top to host Upstate Air Quality Advisory meeting

Ten at the Top (TATT), in recognition of National Air Quality Awareness Week (April 29 – May 3), is hosting the 2019 convening of the Upstate Air Quality Advisory Committee on Wednesday, May 1. This meeting is open to anyone interested in air quality efforts in the Upstate.

Ensuring that the Upstate region remains within attainment levels for the EPA Clean Air Act standards is critical to both the public health and economic viability of the region. During the Upstate Air Quality Advisory Committee Meeting, attendees will hear a presentation from South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) representatives. The presentation will include an update on air quality readings from ozone monitors located in the Upstate. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about several sustainability initiatives happening around the region.
