Teresa Corley Elected to LCSD 56 School Board

A special election was held on Tuesday, October 5th to fill the unexpired term for Laurens County School District 56, seat 5.
Two names were on the ballot to fill the vacancy, Teresa G. Corley and Patricia Green.
Voter turnout was low as is the case in most special elections. Of the 1,873 registered voters in eligible precincts, Corley received 179 votes and Green received 27 votes.
