Terry Tucker Named Third Place Recipient of the Outstanding 2008 Adopt-A-Highway Engineer of the Year Award

COLUMBIA, SC – April 28, 2009 -Terry Tucker received third place in the 2008 Adopt-A-Highway Engineer of the Year competition. Tucker works at the South Carolina Department of Transportation’s (SCDOT) Lexington Maintenance office.  

SCDOT presented the award to Tucker at the Adopt-A-Highway awards ceremony on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at The Zone at the University of South Carolina’s Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia. The annual event is hosted by SCDOT to recognize the volunteer-citizen groups, coordinators and SCDOT employees for their participation in the Adopt-A-Highway program.
