That’s My Greenville” community leadership program graduates 20 young professionals

United Way of Greenville County recently concluded its first community leadership program for young professionals, “That’s My Greenville.” Upon completion, the 20 young leaders gained clear pathways and competency to serve meaningfully in board service, volunteerism and civic engagement.

With a focus on both leadership development and a deep exploration of community issues, participants attended monthly sessions to build knowledge and aptitude.

The “That’s My Greenville” program equips young leaders with the knowledge, tools and skills to connect with community and volunteerism through United Way’s work as the largest poverty fighting agency in Greenville County. Organizations and businesses selected young professionals to participate as an opportunity to educate, inspire and motivate the next generation of leaders in Greenville.
