The Beach Co. Treasurer awarded by Charleston CFO Council

Pat McDermott, treasurer and controller at The Beach Company, was recently honored with the 2019 Senior Financial Executive (SFE) Award by the Charleston CFO Council, the region’s premier organization for senior financial executives.
A dedicated employee of The Beach Company for 22 years, McDermott was recognized in the medium-sized company category (50 to 249 team members).
With 38 years of accounting experience, McDermott has received numerous recognitions and has served on several prestigious boards including the South Carolina Association of CPAs’ Board of Directors and the American Institute of CPAs’ Governing Council.
Founded in 2015, Charleston CFO Council, the Premier Charleston Area organization for SFE’s, provides an educational forum to share best practices, discuss current financial issues and learn about current topics related to the performance of an SFE’s job.
