The Beach Company expands leadership team with new hires
February 4, 2026The Beach Company, a leader in residential and commercial real estate brokerage, development and property management, announced two new hires in the month of December.
Erik Enwall has joined The Beach Company as director of information technology & security at its headquarters in Charleston, S.C. In this role, Enwall will lead and oversee the company’s IT & security functions, ensuring its technology strategy aligns with business objectives. He will manage and mentor a high-performing IT team, guide infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives, oversee compliance and user support, introduce emerging technologies to drive innovation, and strengthen disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Having spent much of his life in the Carolinas, Enwall brings more than 20 years of experience across a variety of roles, most recently serving in information technology for Novant Health / Southeastern Spine Institute.
Chad Wieberg has been hired as director of risk management for The Beach Company in Charleston, S.C. In this role, Wieberg will lead three key areas in the company: insurance program leadership, strategic risk mitigation and contractual due diligence. He will manage all facets of the company’s insurance program, including policy review, negotiation, renewal and claims management, while serving as the primary intermediary between The Beach Company and external stakeholders. His responsibilities include conducting vulnerability assessments and site reviews to identify and mitigate physical, operational and legal/compliance risks across the company’s portfolio. Originally from Wake Forest, N.C., Wieberg brings 21 years of experience in risk management and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas.
