The Beach Company Receives Construction/Real Estate 1773 Chamber Award

CHARLESTON, SC – May 20, 2009 – The Beach Company has been named Construction/Real Estate winner of the prestigious 1773 Chamber Award through the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce. The awards were announced this week at the annual award luncheon hosted at the Charleston Area Convention Center to congratulate the finalist and to recognize and welcome new businesses in the region.

The awards program, called the 1773 Awards was established to showcase the dynamic businesses and industries that make up the Charleston regional economy and best reflect the core values of the Chamber: Leadership, relevance, integrity, diversity and innovation. The Beach Company and Gulf Stream Construction Company met the criteria for the award.

The Beach Company, founded in Charleston in 1945, has honored a tradition of responsibility and excellence in providing top quality real estate products and services for communities, businesses, industries and most importantly families across the Charleston and Southeast Region.
