The Chamber welcomes its newest board and team member
April 17, 2019In May, Jennifer Evans will be joining the Greater Hartsville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She will be filling the vacancy left by Sandi Hemmingsen. We are grateful to Sandi for her years of dedicated leadership and service to the Chamber’s board.
Also in May, Danielle Cottingham will be joining the Greater Hartsville Chamber of Commerce staff as the Membership Development Coordinator. She will be filling the vacancy left by Murphy Monk, who is now serving as President of the Greater Hartsville Chamber of Commerce.

Manor South Design
Jennifer and her husband, Justin, moved from Columbia to Hartsville in 2016 to pursue the restoration of their dream house in the town that Justin grew up in. They have a three-year-old son, a one-year- old old daughter, a baby boy due in August 2019, and five dogs!
Jennifer is owner of Manor South Design, a boutique, southern- inspired interior decorating firm. In addition to serving as President of the Hartsville Women’s League, Jennifer serves as a board member for the Darlington County Habitat for Humanity, a board member for the Greater Hartsville Chamber of Commerce, and is an active member at St. Luke United Methodist Church, serving as the Children’s Choir Director and as a member of the Furnishings Committee.
Danielle Cottingham
Greater Hartsville Chamber of Commerce
Danielle Cottingham is a Hartsville native and Hartsville High School graduate. She currently lives in Clio, SC and her hobbies include singing, playing piano, and her dog, Maggie. She holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees, with honors, from Coker College in History and Music.
During her time at Coker she was the Lead Trainer for the Student Ambassador Program, served as a Commissioner and Orientation Leader for new students, was a Resident Assistant, held positions as a Student Representative on the Alumni Board and Student Development Committee, served as the President of Coker’s student chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, served as a Section Leader in both the Coker Singers and Coker Chamber Choir, and was the co-captain of the Spirit Squad. Danielle was a member of the Coker Honors Program, World Scholars Program, Emerging Leaders Program, and Sophomore Scholars Program. She studied abroad in Spain and Portugal in 2018 and has traveled across the state of South Carolina and the East Coast representing Coker College with the Coker Singers.
After serving as an intern at the Greater Hartsville Chamber of Commerce from 2016-2017, Danielle has accepted a full-time position at the Chamber as the Membership Development Coordinator. In this role, she will be responsible for both member and community outreach. Some of her duties will include: serving as a liaison between the Chamber and it members, handling the Chamber’s social media accounts and website, marketing and planning Chamber events, and publishing the Chamber’s weekly eNewsletter “Chamber Connection.”
