The Charleston Crab Shacks are celebrating 20 years in the Lowcountry

The Charleston Crab Shacks are turning 20 years old and to celebrate two decades in business, they are offering Snow Crab Legs for $20.00 per pound throughout November and December in their Folly Beach, Coosaw Creek, and West Ashley locations.

The first Crab Shack location opened in 1999 on Folly Beach in an old gas station. Owners Ryan Condon, Dan Doyle, and Ron Hill wanted to create a laid-back, relaxed, coastal atmosphere that unified overflowing buckets of fresh seafood, great value, and smiling faces. As the Folly Beach Crab Shack exploded in popularity among locals and visitors alike, the Crab Shack family expanded adding new locations in Coosaw Creek and West Ashley.

“My lifelong dream was to own and run a restaurant,” says Ron. “What I did not envision was just how many blessings were going to come my way on this journey. From all the locals that I’ve had the honor to serve and become friends with, to the amazing team members that God blessed me with to help fulfill my dream. After 20 years, there are way too many to name, but each one has played an important role in the success of our restaurants. “

For the last two decades, The Crab Shacks of Coosaw Creek, West Ashley, and Folly Beach have each become staples within their communities serving as the host location for milestone birthday parties, anniversaries, graduation celebrations, and everyday meals with family and friends. For the remainder of 2019, The Crab Shacks will be celebrating with their dedicated patrons and showing appreciation for everyone who has helped them achieve 20 years in business.
