The Charleston Metro Chamber welcomes Fran Boyd as senior vice president of finance & operations

The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce announced that Fran Boyd has joined the organization as Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations. In this role, Boyd will oversee the Chamber’s financial management, operational systems and administrative functions, ensuring the Chamber remains a strong and effective advocate for the region’s business community.
Boyd brings more than 16 years of leadership experience in association finance and operations. She previously served with the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors (CTAR), where she developed deep expertise in financial oversight, operational management and strategic planning for a membership-driven organization.
“Fran is a fantastic addition to our team,” said Kevin Sheilley, President and CEO of the Charleston Metro Chamber. “She has deep knowledge and understanding of association finance. This expertise, coupled with her commitment to our region, provides incredible leadership to both the Chamber and the Metro.”
A native of Georgetown and a long-time resident of the Charleston region, Boyd now calls Mt. Pleasant home. Her deep connection to the area and her professional background make her uniquely positioned to guide the Chamber’s financial and operational strategies at a pivotal moment.
The appointment of Boyd to the Chamber’s leadership team aligns with organizational priorities focused on fiscal stewardship, operational excellence and strengthening the Chamber’s impact in support of regional competitiveness.
Outside of her professional work, Boyd is an active sailor, participating in regional sailboat racing and enjoys spending time with her family in the Charleston community.
