The Charleston Metro Chamber welcomes new addition to Community Development Team

The Charleston Metro Chamber announced Celeste O’Keefe has joined the Chamber team as Leadership and Programs Coordinator. In this role, she will oversee events, programs and services for Charleston Young Professionals in the areas of professional development, community engagement, connections and policy. She will also play a key role in developing future leaders and supporting the Chamber’s Community Development initiatives. Specifically, she will be identifying community and business leaders to serve as mentors for the Leadership Discovery program, a member-exclusive professional development opportunity, and assist in community event execution.

I have no doubt that she will continue to elevate Charleston Young Professionals and Leadership Discovery and develop valuable relationships with our members along the way.”
Prior to joining the Chamber team, Celeste worked as an Administrative Director for Victoria Clausen Floral Events where her primary responsibilities included client and vendor coordination and communications for events. She has spent most of her career in hospitality management and event production for organizations like the Sagamore Pendry Baltimore, Hayfields Country Club, Hob Knob and the Baltimore Ravens.
Celeste moved from Baltimore, Maryland and earned a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of Delaware. She is proud to call the Lowcountry home and lives in North Charleston with friends and her pet fish.
