The Charleston Metro Chamber welcomes new Operations Coordinator
August 2, 2022The Charleston Metro Chamber announced Grace Carlson has joined the Chamber team as Operations Coordinator. In this role, she communicates externally to optimize operational success for Chamber members, guests and stakeholders as well as collaborates with departments to ensure smooth execution of administrative tasks and maximize organizational performance for Chamber staff.
“Grace is arriving at the Chamber with incredible passion for this work.” said Lucy McNerney, Director of Executive Operations. “Her eagerness and energy is fueling our organization’s momentum, and ultimately, energizing our partners and our region. She’s particularly crafted in making each member and teammate feel uniquely welcome, appreciated and valued.”
Grace joins the Chamber with a background in writing, copywriting and editing for the French American Chamber of Commerce of Atlanta. She also managed their social media accounts and designed marketing collateral for large scale, signature events such as Summer Champagne and Crystal Peach Award Gala.
Grace moved from Kennesaw, Georgia and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Georgia College and State University. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, running and making it through her good reads wish list.
