The Cliffs announces expansion of Cliffs Builders team with two new hires

The Cliffs announced that Cliffs Builders has expanded its team with the addition of Vincent Fournier and Don Thompson. Fournier and Thompson will serve as dedicated project engineers for Cliffs Builders, a homebuilding program entirely operated by The Cliffs that launched in 2019. The expansion of Cliffs Builders will support the continued addition of new turnkey offerings across The Cliffs’ private mountain and lake club communities.

Fournier most recently worked as a construction project manager for Yates Associates Construction Company in the British Virgin Islands where he oversaw the construction of luxury villas on several private islands. Prior to that, he served as vice president and associate of Les Projets Deraspe Construction Company in Montreal, Canada. Fournier holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal.
Thompson brings twenty years of homebuilding experience to The Cliffs, most recently serving as project manager for Sineath Construction in Weaverville, North Carolina. He also served as vice president of operations for Deltec Building Company in Asheville, where he launched and managed a turnkey homebuilding company. Thompson is a member of the Asheville Home Builders Association and recognized as a North Carolina Accredited Master Builder and a North Carolina Certified Green Professional.
