COLUMBIA, SC – March 6, 2009 – The 2009 Columbia Metropolitan Magazine Dream Home is a beautiful renovation of a 6,500-square-foot home that local builder/renovator Robert Haas Construction recently completed. In addition to this amazing home makeover, the Dream Home also showcases the splendid work of 12 local interior designers and suppliers all under one roof. From the fencing to the artwork, this home truly reflects the vast array of talents that the Midlands has to offer. The Dream Home opens Friday, April 3 in Forest Hills neighborhood. Members of the public can tour this spectacular home April 3 through April 19 for an admission fee of $10. All proceeds benefit breast cancer research through the American Cancer Society.
Tour hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. — Monday through Saturday and from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sundays. The house will be closed on Easter Sunday. Tickets are sold at the door.
Organizers say “Don’t miss the ‘Cash and Carry’” sale on April 20 from 9 – 11 a.m., where many items in the home will be marked down to be sold quickly.

From Downtown Columbia: Head east on Forest Drive. Pass Providence Hospital on your left. Turn right onto Devonshire Drive. Veer right at the triangle onto Stratford Road. The Dream Home will be on your right.
