The Commons kicks off holidays with Thanksgiving to-go meals and Black Friday Bite Crawl

The Commons is kicking off the holiday season with a lineup of festive specials, limited-time menu offerings, and family-friendly events from its curated selection of restaurants and retailers.

From Thanksgiving to-go meals and a Black Friday “Bite Crawl” to Santa photo opportunities, locals and out-of-towners alike can celebrate throughout November and December.

“We are excited to celebrate the season, bring joy to the community, and highlight everything that makes The Commons a gathering place for Greenville,” said Barnes Connell, managing director at Aston. “The Commons has always been about more than food and drink—it’s about creating memorable moments that bring people together.”

Thanksgiving To-Go Meals

Let The Commons help simplify your holiday hosting with convenient and delicious to-go options:

  • Automatic Taco: Margarita sour mix
  • The Community Tap: A ready-to-serve holiday spread featuring Tap favorites, local specialties, and snacks that pair perfectly with holiday beverages. Optional add-ons include a dozen cookies and/or house-made pimento cheese
  • LaRue Fine Chocolate: Apple and pumpkin pies
  • Methodical Coffee: Selection of cookies and pastries
  • MooHogz Craft BBQ: Smoked turkey breast and mac and cheese, or a half pan of any menu item
  • Paseo: Custom charcuterie with wine pairings. Bring your own board and Paseo will curate the selections

Guests should check with individual retailers for order deadlines, pickup dates, and instructions.

Black Friday “Bite Crawl”

On Friday, November 28, The Commons invites guests for culinary bite crawl. Visit participating retailers during their operating hours to sample small bites from featured restaurants, each offering a taste of The Commons community. Be sure to try them all! Specials include:

  • Automatic Taco: Chorizo scotch egg with house-made chili vinegar
  • The Community Tap: $10 pre-selected wine flight
  • Delicious x GB&D: Two sliders for $8 and two Bulgogi lettuce wraps for $7
  • Indigo Kitchen: Complimentary hot chai and four Parle-G biscuits, India’s favorite street-side snack, with any $10 purchase
  • Kuka Juice: “Little Black Juice” and “Unbeetable” wellness shots
  • LaRue Fine Chocolate: Seasonal ice cream sandwich bites
  • Leo’s Pizza: $4 slices
  • MooHogz Craft BBQ: $3 brisket chili
  • Paseo: $6 churros
