The Cooperative Ministry has new board chair

Stephanie Yandle, Customer Experience Manager, Research & Information, at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, has been elected as the 2024-2026 chair of The Cooperative Ministry’s board of directors.
The board of directors elected Mrs. Yandle at its Tuesday, June 18 meeting. She joined The Cooperative Ministry’s board in 2019 and recently served as its vice chair. Mrs. Yandle has also evaluated the organization’s mission-centric experience for all clients.
Mrs. Yandle graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and was a member of Leadership Columbia in 2019.
About the Cooperative Ministry
The Cooperative Ministry has served the Midlands of South Carolina for 42 years with services and programming aimed at meeting people in financial crisis and helping them work toward self-sufficiency. In Fiscal Year 2023-2024, the organization served 13,120 people with financial health coaching, including rent and utility assistance, career improvement assistance, free clothing for work and school, emergency food boxes, insurance counseling, and free tax preparation. The Cooperative Ministry is a debt-free organization. Of total expenses, 89 percent support program services.
