The Heirloom Companies craft feature staircase for RMHC

July 31, 2018

The Heirloom Companies is honored to have crafted the signature staircase for the Ronald McDonald House of the Carolinas. The project included involvement from Clayton Builders and was designed by McMillian Pazdan Smith.

“These families have been through, and are going through, so much, so we are humbled that we are able to contribute something to the Ronald McDonald House of the Carolinas that will give it a touch of home and healing,” Ben Moseley, The Heirloom Companies Chief Operations Officer, said.

The Heirloom Companies team developed floating stairs with open risers—a challenging design that adds necessary support. They crafted a red oak guardrail, newel post and treads, and poplar balusters were developed.

Other Heirloom signature projects include: Cancer Survivors Park Celebration Pavilion, AC Hotel signature stairs, Brown Street arches, St. Anthony’s Catholic School in downtown Greenville signature stairs, Drayton Mills stairs for Greenville Hospital System, St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Spartanburg Memorial Gardens, Lake Conestee Nature Park, Greenville Recreation Department signage and three Westminster Presbyterian Crosses.
