The Insurance Source looks to better serve Hispanic community

GREENVILLE, SC – The Insurance Source has hired the company’s first bilingual Customer Service Specialist.
Filomena Novoa brings nearly 30 years of experience to The Insurance Source. Her career began in Boston, MA where she spent 17 years working for a various insurance agencies. In 2003, she moved to South Carolina and spent an additional 12 years working for Canal Insurance Company in Spartanburg.
Filomena was born in Azores-Portugal and is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish. Her career goals are to provide excellent service to all customers including assisting and guiding bilingual clients in understanding insurance better.
The Insurance Source was named the Greenville Chamber’s Small Business of the Month for November 2015. Novoa is the third employee to join the company in 2015.
“Our goal has always been to make insurance easier,” said owner Guy Furay. “We feel confident that Filomena’s expertise and strong language skills will enable us to make insurance easier for more members of our community.”
