The Life Worth Living Project hosts Tiles for Tomorrow on Saturday, April 18, 2026
March 24, 2026The public is invited to join The Life Worth Living Project’s upcoming Mah Jong tournament fundraiser, Tiles for Tomorrow. Planned for Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Flywheel (25 Goldsmith St, Greenville, SC 29609), the day includes a Mah Jong lesson, Open Play, and Food Trucks. Tickets range from $45 to $80 and are available on The Life Worth Living Project’s website. Admission not only grants you access to this memorable event but also supports a cause making a difference in our community.
Tiles for Tomorrow supports the organization’s mission to expand access and affordability to comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and other select evidence-based treatments. Our vision is for children, adolescents, and adults to have access to clinically appropriate, nonjudgmental, inclusive, and nondiscriminatory services with the overarching goal of helping them create “a life worth living.”
According to the South Carolina Department of Health:
- Greenville County frequently reports some of the highest numbers of suicides in the state.
- Greenville County recorded the highest percentage of suicides by overdose (15.1%) in South Carolina between 2017 and 2021.
- Greenville County recorded the highest count of youth suicides (64) in the state between 2017 and 2021.
About The Life Worth Living Project
In 2022, community members invested in making Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) more accessible approached a group of therapists in Greenville, South Carolina. The vision for The Life Worth Living Project began in response to a community need when the number of suicide deaths was among the highest ever recorded.
