The Lumberyard Announces Ownership Transition, Kitchen Expansion Ahead
January 11, 2026The The Lumberyard has announced an upcoming transition in ownership, marking an exciting new chapter while preserving the spirit that regulars have come to know and love.
In a message shared with patrons on social media, owners Charlie and Stacey confirmed that, in the coming weeks, The Lumberyard will transition to new ownership under Robert Moore and Ryland Culbertson. Both are local to the area and familiar faces to many in the community. Charlie and Stacey expressed confidence and enthusiasm about the future, noting that Moore and Culbertson are committed to building on what has made The Lumberyard such a special gathering place.
“The Lumberyard you know and love isn’t going anywhere — and neither are we,” Charlie and Stacey shared. “While we won’t be running the day-to-day anymore, we’re excited to sit alongside you on the other side of the bar and continue enjoying the same nights, conversations, and community we’ve always shared.”
Importantly, patrons can expect continuity. While Charlie and Stacey will step away from day-to-day operations after the 26th, they emphasized their ongoing presence and connection to the business and its community.
As part of the transition, The Lumberyard will be closed during the week of the 26th to allow for an expansion of the kitchen. The business is set to reopen the following week with a new menu, while maintaining the same welcoming atmosphere and familiar feel that has defined The Lumberyard experience.
Charlie and Stacey thanked the community for its continued support and friendship, calling patrons an important part of The Lumberyard’s story. More details about the transition and what’s ahead are expected to be shared soon.
