The McKay Firm welcomes newest associate, Lauren Trask
August 29, 2018The McKay Firm announced the addition of Lauren Trask as the newest attorney at the firm.
Ms. Trask practices in the areas of general insurance defense, employment defense, and civil litigation. She graduated cum laude from Tulane University Honors College with degrees in both English and History. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. During her time in law school, Lauren received the CALI Award for Employment Discrimination and clerked at the South Carolina House of Representatives on the Ethics Committee, as well as for the Clerk’s Office. Lauren was the Associate Editor in Chief for the Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Journal while in law school.
Prior to joining The McKay Firm, Lauren was a Law Clerk for The Honorable Eugene C. Griffith, Jr., a South Carolina Circuit Court Judge. She is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, the Richland County Bar Association, the Junior League of Columbia, the Chi Omega Alumni Association, and the Young Lawyers Division of the South Carolina Bar. She and her husband reside in Columbia.
