The Nick partners with Brookland Foundation
November 30, 2023The Nickelodeon is proud to announce a partnership with the Brookland Foundation to bring a food drive to Main Street this holiday season. The Nick will collect non-perishable food items to assist individuals and families facing food insecurity. The drive will run from December 6 to December 31, with a drop-off collection conveniently located in the theater lobby.
This partnership is thanks to the Development Director for the Brookland Foundation and recently elected Columbia Film Society board member, Kristopher Jones. Stop by the theater throughout the end of the year to donate to our food drive and receive 10% off your next movie ticket.
Serving the Midlands region of South Carolina, The Nickelodeon seeks to build a stronger, more inclusive, and more equitable community through film presentations that both entertain and provoke critical dialogue. The Nick is South Carolina’s only nonprofit arthouse theater. Located in the heart of Columbia, it provides community members with the tools to gather, interpret and appreciate the moving image in all its variety through theatrical and educational programs.
