The Perfect Quiche

The perfect quiche? Yes! This quiche is perfect for Sunday brunch or a weeknight meal.

 

 Ingredients: 

  • 1 deep dish frozen pie shell (whole grain or gluten free)
  • 2 cups of broccoli, chopped fine
  • 1/4 cup frozen chopped onions
  • 1/2 red pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (marble or cheddar)
  • 4 large eggs, whipped
  • Pinch salt and pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups of milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Price bottom of pie crust with fork several times.
  3. Place pie crust on a cookie sheet.
  4. Mix veggies with basil and place in pie crust.
  5. Sprinkle cheese all over veggies.
  6. Whip eggs, salt, pepper, and milk.
  7. Carefully pour egg mixture over cheese.
  8. Bake 40 to 45 minutes until egg mixture is cooked through and crust is lightly browned.
  9. Allow to cook 6-8 minutes before cutting.
