The Rose Ball Beneficiaries Committee now accepting letters of intent for grants to benefit charitable organizations in Greenville County

January 4, 2023

The Rose Ball, Greenville’s longest-running charitable event, is accepting letters of intent between January 1-13, 2023 for grant applications. The Rose Ball Beneficiaries Committee determines recommended grants for funding in the focus areas of arts, education, environment, and health and human services per Rose Ball guidelines.

The committee will review all submitted letters of intent and select agencies for consideration for grants. If selected, the agency will then be invited to submit a full application and schedule a site visit.

The letter of intent form can be accessed at www.theroseball.org/grants and completed letters should be emailed to [email protected] no later than January 13, 2021.

About The Rose Ball

In 1971, the Charity Ball Board of Greenville was organized to sponsor a ball for a charitable community benefit. The Rose Ball was the first ball held in Greenville that would solicit public support to benefit charities in the community. The proceeds from the Rose Ball are distributed throughout the community with the St. Francis Health System receiving 50% of the funding. Over the past fifty years, the Rose Ball has raised more than $4,000,000 to benefit the physical, emotional, educational, environmental and cultural needs of the people of Greenville County.

For more information about The Rose Ball grant application process, visit theroseball.org/grants or contact Courtney Atkinson, Beneficiaries Committee Chair, at [email protected].
