The SawMill Tactical Training Facility Provides Opportunities for Local Community
August 24, 2022Did you know that Laurens County is home to a state-of-the-art venues for national enforcement personnel and military special operations warriors?
The SawMill Tactical Training Complex in Laurens is a premier venue with an exclusive cadre of navy seals, green berets and SOF tier one veterans from Delta Force and Seal Team 6. It is known to the famous faces of marksmanship – the warrior elites who guest instructor at the facility often.
The complex includes precision shooting ranges, a 1,400 ft. long sniper range, a 360° range, force on force training, container super structures, helicopter landing zones and versatile terrain. Also on property is a lodge with a club house and meeting space. This premiere venue offers training conducted by the industry’s most talented & sought-after names.
“We are honored to have the opportunity to do good things with great people, said owner Steve Brown. “We welcome the Laurens County community to come out and tour the complex and participate in some of the range days and other training opportunities. We are here for everyone.”
Their goal is for civilians, military units, and first responders to come out to The Sawmill to network, train, and get better at life. They host courses such as: self-defense, CWP classes, force-on-force, long-range shooting, CQB, NVG, evasive driving, survival/bushcraft, charity events, first aid classes, and much more.
Although they are built and designed primarily for Military Special Operations and Law enforcement SWAT teams, they also offer open enrollment courses for civilians (non-military people). They also host many events every year that the public is welcome to attend.
