The SC Gingerbread House Competition is happening this Saturday!

Celebrate the holiday season at the SC Gingerbread House Competition, taking place on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at AIA Columbia (1530 Suite C, Columbia, SC). This family-friendly event is open to the public and free to attend, running alongside the vibrant Soda City Market.
The competition benefits Home Works of America, a nonprofit dedicated to providing critical home repairs for low-income homeowners while mentoring youth volunteers. Come support this wonderful cause and enjoy a festive morning filled with creativity and holiday cheer!
Highlights of the event include:
Professionally judged gingerbread house entries, plus a People’s Choice Award where guests can vote for their favorite Gingerbread House.
Photos with Santa, available for free!
Guests are encouraged to bring donations for Home Works, including:
Trash bags
Toilet paper
Paper towels
Dish towels
Wash cloths
Clorox wipes
Hand soap
Dish soap
Laundry baskets
In the evening, join us for a ticketed cocktail party from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, where the winners of the competition will be announced. Enjoy an elegant evening, and know that all proceeds from the event go directly to Home Works of America.
