The South Carolina Business Hall of Fame will induct three new Laureates in 2023

2023 inductees commitment to service, leadership, personal excellence

In September, Junior Achievement of Greater South Carolina announced three new Laureates to be inducted to the South Carolina Business Hall of Fame on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the Pastides Alumni Center at University of South Carolina. Being inducted to the Business Hall of Fame is a distinction which honors lifetime achievements for those who have made a positive impact on South Carolina.

Giants in their respective industries and champions of free enterprise, this year’s inductees:

  • Mr. George W. Fennell, Fennell Holdings, of Charleston
  • Mr. L. Stewart Spinks, Spinx Company, of Greenville
  • Mrs. Kim A. Wilkerson, Bank of America, of Columbia

These award winners, called Laureates, are champions of free enterprise and can be viewed as role models in business for the youth of the Palmetto state. They were chosen for their unique contributions to South Carolina’s business landscape, for being an agent of positive change, for their leadership, and for being a source of inspiration to the leaders of tomorrow.

The South Carolina Hall of Fame 2023 will occur on Thursday, March 9th, 2023 at the Pastides Alumni Center at the University of South Carolina. Sponsors of the event include BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, Planned Administrators Inc., and Verizon.
